Most of this season's top incoming talent in the Big 12 was a product of a tough recruiting battle within the conference. With three Texas natives among the top five freshmen, there was bound to be some push and shove among the top programs in the Southwest. But the 2013 recruiting class tells a completely different story. Big 12 teams, especially Kansas, found elite prospects from all corners of the country, showing to draw top-level coaching and tough conference competition can have on young prospects.
