College programs to watch

The end of January marks, roughly, the halfway point between basketball's early signing period in November and the spring signing period that starts on April 17 and runs until May 15. And while most of the nation's elite Class of 2013 players have already made their college choices and Kentucky has likely clinched the top recruiting class, that doesn't mean there's no intrigue left.

Consider this: Since No. 1 prospect Andrew Wiggins, No. 4 Julius Randle and No. 7 Aaron Gordon are still on the board, the recruiting fortunes of heavyweights such as Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina, NC State, Arizona, Florida, Texas, Florida State and more still hang in the balance.
