There is a definite disconnect between the Georgia Bulldogs' offensive talent and performance level and their perceived rank in terms of the SEC's great offenses.
Last year, this platoon led not just the SEC but the entire country in offensive yards per play, had a quarterback (Aaron Murray) who set an SEC record for the most career 3,000-yard passing seasons and a running back (Todd Gurley) who broke some of Herschel Walker's freshman team records. Yet they didn't post even a single offensive player on the 2012 All-SEC first team.
If last year's performance wasn't enough to get their recognition, what in the world can the Bulldogs do this year to prove to the world they are the best offense in the SEC?
