Who is trending up in fantasy women's basketball? Which rotations are changing? What's the latest with the notable injuries around the WNBA?
Here's a look around the league at the most fantasy-relevant news and notes for all 12 teams.
The Dream has had four straight losses and now sit one full game behind the Sparks for the eighth and final playoff spot. Tiffany Hayes will miss Wednesday's game against the Fever due to an ankle injury. Kristy Wallace (available in 93% of leagues) and Aari McDonald (available in 69.4% of leagues) will see their minutes grow while Hayes is out.
For managers in the playoffs, Azura Stevens (available in 45.4%) is the best streaming option from the Sky. Over the last three games, she has averaged 28.6 fantasy points. In that time frame, Stevens has averaged 31 minutes per contest.
In addition to Candace Parker and Sabrina Ionescu, Alyssa Thomas is the only player with multiple triple-doubles in a career (each has three) and in a season (each has two this season). In three of her last six games, she has scored 43-plus fantasy points. Natisha Hiedeman (available in 87% of leagues) continues to be the top streamer for a Sun team that ranks second in offensive rating (105.1).
Teaira McCowan is helping fantasy managers win leagues. McCowan has had three consecutive double-doubles, the second-longest streak of her career and the second-longest streak in the league. If you need a streamer, don't overlook Kayla Thornton (available in 62.6% of leagues), who has scored 20-plus fantasy points in five straight games.
Kelsey Mitchell will miss the remainder of the season due to a partial plantar fascia tear in her left foot. This is a devastating blow for the Fever and fantasy managers. For a young Indiana team seeking to develop its younger players, Destanni Henderson (available in 91.5% of leagues) is well positioned for additional minutes. With 22-plus fantasy points in two consecutive games, she is a solid streamer.
As of Tuesday, the Aces have had 17 games with multiple 20-point scorers, tied with the Mercury who did so three times in 2008, 2009, and 2018. A'ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young, Chelsea Gray, and Dearica Hamby should all continue to be in starting lineups.
Streamers should consider Jordin Canada (available in 68.9% of leagues) because she has been in and out of the starting lineup recently. This season, she is averaging 26.7 minutes per game and 20.1 fantasy points.
Moriah Jefferson (available in 59.9%) is the top streamer to target. In two consecutive games, she has scored 28-plus fantasy points. Meanwhile, Sylvia Fowles continues to add to her legacy in this, her final season. She just became the fifth player to exceed 2,500 career field goals made, trailing only Diana Taurasi (3,041), Candice Dupree (2,842), Tina Charles (2,835) and Tina Thompson (2,630).
Ionescu continues to be a "league-winner." In Tuesday's game against the Sparks, she had her fourth 30-point game of the season, which tied her with Cappie Pondexter (2012) for the second-most such games in a season in franchise history. If you need a streamer, Han Xu (available in 86% of leagues) has been splitting minutes with Stefanie Dolson for most of the season. On Tuesday night, Xu played a season-high 27 minutes and scored 31 fantasy points.
The Mercury's top streaming option is Shey Peddy (available in 73.9% of leagues). Managers have benefited from her superior play during the playoffs. Over the last five games, Peddy has averaged 25.8 fantasy points. In each game, she has played more than 30 minutes.
Ezi Magbegor's fantasy value has been decimated by Tina Charles joining the Storm. This season, the Storm hasn't been a fantasy juggernaut. If you are looking for a streamer, consider Gabby Williams (available in 58% of leagues). This season, she has averaged 18.5 fantasy points per game.
Against the Aces on Tuesday Shakira Austin (available in 60% of leagues) had her third game this season with 15-plus points scored. She now has 21-plus fantasy points in four consecutive games. For fantasy managers in need of a streamer, Austin is a viable option.
