Oklahoma earns Big 12's top grade

Here's a team-by-team breakdown of the recruiting classes in the Big 12.

Grade

Oklahoma Sooners

The Sooners have loaded up on offense in 2014, making the most of the huge Sugar Bowl win over Alabama. Leading the way is dynamic running back and No. 53 overall Joe Mixon, who is joined by fellow ESPN 300 back Samaje Perine. Four-star ATH Michiah Quick, No. 75 in the ESPN 300, is another talented prospect out of California and could be a playmaker for Oklahoma out of the slot. A pair of ESPN 300 tight ends, Carson Meier and Mark Andrews, join No. 265 Dallis Todd and four-star Jeffery Mead at receiver. No. 100 Justice Hansen could be the future of the quarterback position and will be protected by four-star offensive linemen Alex Dalton and Natrell Curtis. Three-star safety prospect Jordan Thomas was a need-filling flip from Northwestern. Three-star Tay Evans is an active linebacker who just needs time to add bulk.
