The Carolina Panthers will be going to the postseason as NFC South champions, but their roster is mostly filled with people who have no playoff experience. However, they do have a few players who have not only participated in the playoffs, but have had big performances in the postseason, including the Super Bowl.
One of those players is wide receiver Kevin Dyson, who was brought in as a free agent in the offseason. Unfortunately, Dyson tore his Achilles' tendon and missed most of the season, and didn't see his first game action until last week against the Detroit Lions.
Dyson's first on-field action came in the fourth quarter and he returned a punt for 14 yards. Dyson also added two receptions for a modest 15 yards. Although those numbers aren't eye-popping numbers, the fact that he was able to return from the injury so soon is impressive enough.
