Everything broke right for Will Brown's Great Danes at the end of last season, as they beat Vermont on the road to secure their third NCAA tournament appearance in school history. For that, Brown was rewarded with a contract extension through the 2017-18 season. They lose the leadership of guards Mike Black and Jacob Iati, but add talented junior college scorers who will have an impact right away. Brown has been able to recruit players from Australia over the years and returning underclassman starters Sam Rowley and Peter Hooley, both of whom steadily improved in the second half of last season, will be asked to take on leadership roles.
