In-conference offense: 0.92 points per possession (8th)
In-conference defense: 1.00 points allowed per possession (5th)
New Hampshire coach Bill Herrion was confident last season's team would break through. Instead they started 0-6 in conference play and finished as a disappointment. He hopes that changes in 2013-14, as the Wildcats lose four key players to graduation but return senior Patrick Konan, who averaged 11.8 points per game. He can play either wing or at the power forward position. Transfer Matt Miller will address a roster weakness as a perimeter shooting threat. Miller led Division II Seton Hill with 20.1 PPG and made 158 3-pointers in two seasons. Senior Chris Pelcher returns after playing through a separated shoulder injury for the final two months of last season. When healthy, Pelcher is a back-to-the-basket threat who will open up the floor for Konan and the guards.
