Kansas once again Big 12's best

Kansas Jayhawks

2013-14: 25-10 (14-4)
In-conference offense: 1.18 points per possession (1st)
In-conference defense: 1.03 points per possession (1st)

Coverage of Kansas last season was focused on the performance of freshman phenom Andrew Wiggins. During the season, the development of Wiggins was discussed as much as the outcome of any game. In the end, Wiggins produced what one might have expected. He wasn't the next LeBron, as some suggested before the season, but those expectations were largely unfair. The Big 12 Player of the Year award went to Iowa State's Melvin Ejim, but there was a legitimate case for Wiggins, who eventually was picked No. 1 in the NBA draft.
