MLB mock draft 4.0

Beyond the inevitable at the top -- Bryce Harper -- there could be a lot of shifts on Monday. Getty Images

This is the final complete first-round projection I'll do for the 2010 draft's first round, but I will update this over the course of the day on Monday as I get more information. Many clubs, if not most, are indicating that they're going to make final decisions on first-round candidates on Monday morning and afternoon after gauging signability or conducting some final debates. So here we go. (The draft begins Monday night at 7 p.m. ET and continues on Tuesday and Wednesday.)

Washington Nationals

Bryce Harper, C, College of Southern Nevada
You knew this already.SCOUTING VIDEO

Pittsburgh Pirates

Jameson Taillon, RHP, The Woodlands High School (Texas)
Or Manny Machado or Unnamed College Pitcher. They're not talking. I know, because I asked. SCOUTING VIDEO

Baltimore Orioles

Manny Machado, SS, Brito Private, Miami (Fla.)

Or Taillon. I think they're happy either way. Or they oughta be. SCOUTING VIDEO

Kansas City Royals

Yasmani Grandal, C, Miami
UPDATE: Hearing the Royals will be taking Chris Sale.

Again, no pre-draft deal in place here -- I was told there hadn't even been a discussion of money as of Saturday evening. SCOUTING VIDEO

Cleveland Indians

Drew Pomeranz, LHP, Ole Miss Or Chris Sale or Michael Choice, but Pomeranz seems to be the leader.
