The 2023 PFL season came to an end on Saturday night, as all six weight classes crowned a new champion at the 2023 PFL World Championship in The Anthem in Washington, D.C.

In the main event, last year's men's lightweight champion Olivier Aubin-Mercier faced fellow PFL vet Clay Collard, though the fight was close, OAM lived up to his reputation as he grinded out a unanimous decision victory to earn his second consecutive lightweight title.

And in the co-main event, last year's heavyweight semifinalist Renan Ferreira broke through this season to earn his first PFL title, upsetting two-time semifinalist Denis Goltsov by second-round technical knockout to earn the strap and the oversized check.

Before that, the 2022 women's lightweight champion Larissa Pacheco beat Marina Mokhnatkina by unanimous decision in the women's featherweight title fight to etch her name in the PFL history books. With the win, Pacheco became the promotion's first-ever two-division champion and the fifth two-time champion. Aubin-Mercier's win over Collard made him the sixth PFL fighter to win two championships. Impa Kasanganay, Magomed Magomedkerimov and Jesus Pinedo also won titles.

In addition to the championship fights, former two-time PFL women's lightweight champion Kayla Harrison made her much-anticipated return to the cage and picked up a dominant unanimous decision win over Aspen Ladd.
