2005: Three teams pass on CP3

It's about that time again -- time for another draft.

No, I don't mean Wednesday's NBA draft. I'm talking about my annual re-draft. Once again, it's time to go back in history and look at what each team might have done with 20-20 hindsight.

This year, we're paring down the scope of the project a bit. Since not much happened in the past season to change my opinion of the 1996 draft, for instance, we're not going to get too caught up in re-ranking all those guys. Instead, we're just going to focus on the past three seasons.

The method to this madness isn't any different than it was a year ago. I look at a player's career minutes and career PER, but also factor in subjective criteria, such as age, defense, attitude, etc.
