PORTLAND, Ore. -- Let's cut right to the chase: Yes, perhaps we could have had a wee bit more excitement from these first 16 playoff games. Home teams have won 13 of them, and most weren't close. In fact, we've had only three games decided by five points or less -- Jazz-Nuggets Game 2, Lakers-Thunder Game 2 and the opener of the Blazers-Suns faceoff (and in this last case, a close Game 1 was offset by a laugher in Game 2). The average final margin has been nearly a dozen points (11.6 to be exact).
