Big or small has been a question in other series, but it wasn't supposed to be a question for the Thunder against San Antonio. Looking at the Spurs' lack of mobile 4s, and Oklahoma City's dominance in lineups featuring Kevin Durant at the 4, it seemed obvious that Scott Brooks should go small early and often.
And then Game 1 happened.
The Thunder had a few different problems in their opening 101-98 defeat in San Antonio, but they generally fall under one blanket category: Their small-ball lineup was terrible.
