After breaking down film, here is Scouts Inc.'s take on what to watch this weekend.
1. Brady, Moss on same page
The chemistry between Patriots QB Tom Brady and WR Randy Moss is amazing. They are both cerebral players, and it looks like each adjusts on passing plays and knows what the other is going to do. Moss used to be a sloppy route runner who depended on his speed to make plays. But now those routes are crisp, and he does a great job of setting up the defensive back, either with a lead fake, false step or stutter-step. In the meantime, Brady sits in the pocket and waits for Moss to get into space and delivers the ball to Moss in stride. Also, we are seeing more crossing routes by Moss in the intermediate zones, which are designed to get yards after the catch.
