Front-office priorities
What management's to-do list should include this offseason.
1. Highly paid, marginal productivity players will be front and center for evaluation, as should always the case when you have been a .500 team over the past 32 regular-season games. Names such as Chris Snee and David Baas (coming off knee injury) on offense, and Mathias Kiwanuka on defense are prime candidates to be cut or have their salaries reduced drastically.
2. Get the offense back on track, starting with QB Eli Manning. Every step needs to be taken to make sure he develops a very good rapport with new offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo.
3. Have a plan in place to address the offensive line, where the lone bright spot is 2013 first-rounder Justin Pugh, and the WR position, where Rueben Randle has to take the next step in his development to replace Hakeem Nicks, who will likely depart in free agency.
