Front-office priorities
What management's to-do list should include this offseason.
1. What kind of relationship will new coach Jay Gruden be able to foster with Robert Griffin III, and will the powers-that-be stay out of the way and allow it to happen as Gruden sees fit? They are the two most important assets in this organization, and the Redskins need to get this right. It starts with Gruden.
2. Other than LT Trent Williams, the offensive line is horrible and needs to be upgraded, no matter what the new scheme will be. There is cap space, but free agency is also a tough place to find long-term offensive line solutions. That said, the Redskins need to look.
3. With Santana Moss and Josh Morgan set to become UFAs, a plan needs to be put into place to upgrade the WR group and provide some help opposite Pierre Garcon. The Skins have a player in TE Jordan Reed who could set the league on fire in '14 with his run-after-catch ability. He was exceptional as a rookie until an injury derailed his season.
