Will speedy USC cornerback Adoree' Jackson take off in the NFL? Where will he go in the April draft? We sought a scout's opinion, then asked Insiders - and Jackson himself - to respond.

An NFL scout says:

This kid is a hell of an athlete who jumps off the tape with his explosiveness.1 Athletically, you like everything you see, and you can use him on returns2 or in a package on offense.3 He is a lot more comfortable up on the line than working back in zone.4 He struggles to keep himself in position sometimes, especially when he's behind and needs to use that speed to recover.5 Occasionally, Adoree' opens his hips too quickly when making the change out of his backpedal, especially in press.6 I think he can play in the slot right away,7 but the bigger guys outside may overpower him until he learns positioning.8 He won't get much bigger, so teach him to use what he's got.9 He's a second-round pick, but he could fall to the third because of his height. 10
