ESPN Fantasy Projection: Since entering the league in 2019, McLaurin ranks no lower than 16th among wide receivers in targets, target share, receptions, receiving yards and fantasy points. Washington's quarterback struggles haven't allowed many touchdowns, however, and McLaurin hasn't cleared five in a season since he caught seven as a rookie in 2019. McLaurin is extremely reliable (four career drops) and, though his role as a speed/vertical target limits his catch total a bit, it sets him up for plenty of explosive plays (his 14.4 average depth of route led all WRs in 2021). The arrival of Carson Wentz has McLaurin positioned for his first fantasy campaign better than 20th. Target the 26-year-old as a WR2.
