ESPN Fantasy Projection: Tagovailoa is entering his third NFL season in prime position for a leap forward. Miami was busy improving his supporting cast during the offseason, adding a group that includes superstars Tyreek Hill and Terron Armstead. It might be the saving grace for Tagovailoa considering that he has not been a fantasy factor thus far in his career, registering one weekly finish better than 15th as a rookie and one better than 11th in 2021. He's thus far been very conservative (his 7.0 average depth of throw ranked near the basement of the league last season) and hasn't added much with his legs, but perhaps both will change with Mike McDaniel running the offense. Tagovailoa's youth and improved situation makes him well worth a late flier.
