Fantasy Football
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Fields enters his second NFL season as the clear starter in Chicago. The 2021 first-round pick was about as bad as you can get from a fantasy perspective out of the gate in his career, finishing with single digits in six of his first seven appearances. The light seemed to go on after that, as he finished as a top-12 fantasy QB in each of his final four full games. Despite appearing in only 12 games, Fields ranked fifth among QBs in rushing yards for the season. He obviously as a lot of fantasy appeal due to his rushing, but he was also aggressive as a passer, leading the league with a 9.8 average depth of throw. The dual-threat QB's supporting cast is very weak, but his legs make him a breakout candidate worth considering in the late rounds.
