NFL's top open-field threats

The NFL is loaded with remarkable athletes at every position, but there are an elite few who excite us the most.

The guys who can score on any play, who only need a bit of daylight in order to change the complexion of a game, they are the great open-field players who routinely get fans to jump out of their seats.

Here is my list of the top eight open-field threats in the NFL, including one primarily defensive player.

1. Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Minnesota Vikings

I've been a scout for a long time, and I don't think I have ever seen anyone like Patterson in the open field.
