Source: Green Bay Packers WR Allen Lazard (ankle) expected to play vs. Chicago Bears

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard, who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at home against the Chicago Bears with a sprained ankle, is expected to play, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Saturday.

Lazard missed the opener against the Minnesota Vikings, but he practiced Wednesday for the first time since his ankle got stepped on in practice two weeks ago. He was listed as a limited participant.

He is the leading returning receiver for the Packers with 40 receptions for 513 yards and eight touchdowns in 2021. Rookie Romeo Doubs replaced him in the starting lineup last week.
