Fastest-rising NFL stars

If he can stay healthy, Jermichael Finely might be the toughest matchup in the NFL. Dennis Wierzbicki/US Presswire

Players in the NFL change drastically year to year. Whether it's due to injuries or aging or scheme change, ranking players against one another like we did with the Top 200 list is an ongoing process that changes very rapidly.

But what about next year?

Below are players that I expect to rise drastically up these rankings after their performances this season, one from each position group. If I were to pick just one name that I had the most faith to bet on in this capacity, it would be Jermichael Finley. More on him below.

QB: Josh Freeman, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It is probably unlikely that Freeman can match his amazingly low number of interceptions from 2010, but that doesn't mean that he isn't going to continue to improve at a very rapid rate with everything he does at the position. He is dripping with ability and comes through in the clutch -- he'll rise on this list.

Two other youngsters who could rocket up these rankings are Sam Bradford and Matthew Stafford. All three of these quarterbacks have the chance to join my Elite Six, which consists of Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Philip Rivers and of course, our top ranked player overall, Tom Brady.
