What if the Wild go into selling mode?

Early on this season, the Minnesota Wild appeared to be cruising to their fourth consecutive postseason appearance. But the club has struggled to a 4-12-4 record in the 2016 calendar year, knocking them out of a playoff position, and costing coach Mike Yeo his job.

If Minnesota continues to struggle, and general manager Chuck Fletcher decides to enter selling mode, then the Wild could have a huge impact on the trade market ahead of the Feb. 29 deadline, by adding veterans like Thomas Vanek, Jason Pominville, Mikko Koivu, Zach Parise and Ryan Suter into the mix.
