EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State star Kalin Lucas did not practice Thursday because of a sprained right ankle and is questionable to play in the fifth-ranked Spartans' next game.
Michigan State plays Saturday at Illinois and hosts Purdue (No. 7 ESPN/USA Today, No. 8 AP) on Tuesday.
Lucas, last season's Big Ten player of the year, was hurt Tuesday night as Michigan State lost its first Big Ten game at Wisconsin.
If Lucas can't play, he will likely be replaced at point guard by Korie Lucious.
