Mulgrew strikes to secure promotion for Blackburn

Blackburn Rovers secured promotion back to the Championship with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Doncaster Rovers.
Charlie Mulgrew's second half header broke tremendous defensive resolve from Doncaster and ensured Tony Mowbray's side bounced back to the second tier at the first attempt.
Blackburn piled on the pressure from the start but met a Rovers side determined to delay the promotion party.
Danny Graham saw a shot roll across the line after rounding Marko Marosi while Andy Butler cleared off the line from Adam Armstrong's volley.
Charlie Mulgrew and Craig Conway both went close with efforts while David Raya produced a fine reaction save at the other end to keep out Alfie Beestin's header in a rare Doncaster chance.
Blackburn should have been ahead before the break only for Bradley Dack to get in the way of teammate Armstrong's shot.
The visitors pushed hard in the second half but Doncaster threw themselves in front of everything, with Mathieu Baudry sliding in to prevent a certain goal for Conway.
Blackburn finally broke the deadlock in the 80th minute when Mugrew flicked home a header from a Dack corner to send his side into the Championship.
