Stirling put a dent in Annan Athletic's Scottish League Two play-off chances with a 2-1 victory at the Forthbank Stadium.
The hosts went ahead after only seven minutes when Sean Dickson released Steven Doris, who in turn picked out Moses Olanrewaju to convert a low finish from inside the penalty area.
Veteran striker Peter Weatherson spurned Annan's best first-half chances, twice heading off target and seeing a shot well saved by goalkeeper Cameron Binnie.
David Verlaque's effort from a corner was hacked clear by Matt Flynn on the line as the home side pressed for a second after the break, and they wrapped up the points 14 minutes from time when youngster Ross Kavanagh bagged his first goal for the club after another Doris assist.
Josh Todd scored late on for the visitors but it was no more than a consolation as they dropped out of the top four.
