Connor Jennings' first-half goal gave Wrexham victory over 10-man Woking in the Vanarama National League.
Kadell Daniel drew an early save from Wrexham goalkeeper Cameron Belford and both teams were off target with a series of long-range efforts before Belford again denied Daniel.
Wrexham took the lead slightly against the run of play when Dominic Vose teed up Jennings to finished from inside the six-yard box in the 28th minute.
The dangerous Daniel went close again while at the other end, Jake Cole had to tip Sean Newton's free-kick around the post and Vose tried his luck from his own half in first-half stoppage time.
Woking lost Brian Saah to a second yellow card, both for fouls on Kayden Jackson, and Jennings twice went close to a second goal when he shot wide from Vose's corner and Sean Newton's cross.
Jimmy Keohane and Dan Holman tested Belford and defender Blaine Hudson denied John Goddard and Bruno Andrade as Woking sought an equaliser in vain.
