Montrose's lead at the top of Ladbrokes League Two has been cut to one point following their 1-1 draw with basement side Cowdenbeath.
Gary Fraser opened the scoring for the leaders in the 68th minute before Robbie Buchanan equalised 10 minutes from time.
Peterhead improved their goal difference with a 7-0 win at home to Elgin to keep the pressure on Montrose.
Rory McAllister made it 10 goals in his last nine games with the opener in the 27th minute before Jordon Brown doubled the home side's advantage nine minutes after half-time.
Further goals from Nick Riley, Jamie Stevenson (2), Mason Robertson and Russell McLean wrapped up the scoring for the Blue Toon.
Edinburgh City beat Berwick 3-0 thanks to Ashley Grimes' opener and two from Scott Shepherd.
Two goals at the start of the second half from Jimmy Scott and Ross Meechan enabled Stenhousemuir to open up a five-point gap on Stirling, who scored a late consolation in the 2-1 defeat through Darren Smith.
Annan had Jack Brannan sent off in the seventh minute at Clyde but managed to secure a point following a 0-0 draw. Clyde had Kevin Nicoll sent off four minutes from time.
