Hakim Ziyech has signed a five-year deal to join Ajax from Twente for a fee in the region of €11 million.
Ziyech, 23, is a Morocco international who was reported to be on the radars of Everton, Arsenal and West Ham this summer.
But the attacking midfielder told Ajax's official website he decided he wanted to remain in the Netherlands and pursue his goal of winning the Eredivisie title with the 33-time Dutch champions.

Ziyech said: "I have previously always said that I wanted to go to a foreign club. But when the transfer window came closer, I thought, what do I really want?
"After consulting with my family and agent, I came to the conclusion that an intermediate step at a top Dutch club is best for me.
"First I want to be champion of the Netherlands. At Ajax I can do that. I am very proud to have made this switch."
In his two years at Twente, Ziyech scored 34 goals in 76 games and could make his debut for Ajax as early as Sept. 11, when they host Vitesse following the international break.
