The future has never been brighter for El Tri. With the Liga MX turning out Mexican talent in droves, and Mexican youth teams winning titles and tournaments around the world -- from U-15s to U-23s -- there's plenty to choose from in terms of putting together a group of Mexico's Top 25 U-21 prospects.
Weighing performances and potential for club and country, we've come up with our inaugural list of Top 25 talents, starting with some Olympic stars and working our way down to some lesser-known, equally promising stars in the making.
We'll repeat the disclaimer here: This ranking, like the career of youth prospects, is fluid, because the status of young players at their clubs changes constantly. Expect some shake-ups in future rankings in the coming months as El Tri seeks to add to its growing pile of youth tournament trophies.
Here are the Top 25 U-21 Mexican prospects:

Jorge Enriquez
AGE: 21
DOB: 1/8/91
CLUB (COUNTRY) Chivas (Mexico)
POS: MF
The Summer Olympics proved the perfect showcase for Enriquez, who forced his way onto the field alongside Carlos Salcido at defensive mid and showed how dangerous he can be as a box-to-box midfielder. That performance was followed by a solid club season in which he saw regular time for the first time for Chivas, becoming a consistent starting pick for John V'ant Schip. Given that Enriquez is still growing into his 6-foot-3 frame, the sky's the limit for Mexico's next international superstar. PLAYER CARD
