News: 2 days agoBrown (hip) isn't listed on the Eagles' first injury report ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the 49ers.
Spin: Brown was slow to get to his feet a few times during the later stages of this past Saturday's divisional-round win against the Giants. He touched on the subject Sunday, telling Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer that his left hip got banged up during the contest. According to McLane, Brown also said that he's "good to go" prior to Wednesday's walkthrough, which was confirmed now that his name wasn't included among Philadelphia's injured players on the active roster. Brown thus is set to face a San Francisco defense that was surprisingly yielding to wide receivers during the regular season, ranking 26th in yards per target (8.5) and tied for 26th in total touchdowns (18) allowed.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Brown was traded to the Eagles during April's draft. The 2019 second-round pick has emerged as one of the league's top WR talents in recent years, but he just can't seem to get over the top and join the elite fantasy scorers at the position. Part of the issue was Tennessee's run-heavy scheme, but it's also related to the six games he's missed due to injury over the last two seasons. The good news is that Brown has seen big target shares (seventh at WR each of the last two seasons), has been a TD machine (24 TDs in 43 games) and his efficiency has been elite (no lower than seventh in YPT, RAC and YPRR since he was drafted). He is safest as a fantasy WR2, but he'll be Jalen Hurts' primary target in Philadelphia and has a shot at his second top-12 fantasy campaign.
